How about them apples? There's a couple of facts that I already knew, like Buzz's girlfriend (woof) being played by a boy in drag, but there's some other stuff that I had no idea about. In fact, there's even some throwaway tidbits that don't count as one of the nine things in this video that are kind of mind-blowing today. For example, the year that Home Alone was released in theaters it was #1 at the box office for 12 weeks. That's essentially unheard of nowadays. That's mostly because so many more movies hit theaters now than did back in 1990, but that's an incredible feat for a holiday comedy without many big stars.
