This show is fantasy the way that James Bond is fantasy. Don't get me wrong, I like the show, and I like Agent Peggy Carter as a character. But, please: Don't write this show up as if it's the real world. It makes it easy for Peggy to look good when the men around her look so stupid.
That they don't even consider that Ivchenko might be a double agent...dumb...as is Peggy for not considering the possibility until she sees him doing morse code. In the world of superheroes, Wonder Woman can bench press locomotives. In the real world, the best female golfer, at the top of her game, Annika Sorenstrom, couldn't make the cut at a male PGA event. There's a reason, and it's not sexism, all Navy Seals are men. Women can do amazing things in sports and physical deeds, of course. And women can compete with men on every intellectual level. But don't base your views of sexual equality from the example of a scripted TV show.
