It's a good list but all lists are subjective. I too think JK Simmons is a lock as is Julianne Moore and they should be as they are brilliant in their respective roles. Eddie Redmayne should win but I'll accept the Michael Keaton victory although I feel Steve Carrell's performance was amazing. (it's a shame that they DID snub Channing Tatum who of the fine trio of performances in Foxcatcher gave the most complex). I lean toward American Sniper (despite the ridiculous plastic baby fiasco) or Still Alice for Best Picture. I do think it will be Boyhood (a film I much admire) or Birdman (a film I admired more than enjoyed).
