Watch: SNL Spoof 'Marvel Trailer' with 'Guardians' Star Chris Pratt

"This summer Marvel took a super obscure comic book and turned it into the biggest movie of the year. Which means one thing: Marvel can't fail!"

Beloved breakout star Chris Pratt (who plays Peter Quill in Guardians of the Galaxy) hosted last night's episode of "Saturday Night Live" on NBC, and brought a little Marvel flavor to the late night comedy show.

One of the skits/commercials that made the cut was a faux set of trailers titled just "Marvel Trailer", spoofing the Guardians rag-tag group of heroes with all kinds of different rag-tag teams. It's fun, but not as good as many of the YouTube spoofs we've seen already. Enjoy.

Here's the "Saturday Night Live" sketch "Marvel Trailer" from the September 27th, 2014 show:

Description: "There's a new group of blockbusters coming down the pipe from Marvel, including Bus People, Fancy Ghosts and Some Shopping Carts." Fun stuff, nice work SNL. Glad to see someone actually making fun of Marvel in this way and doing it so big and bold. Sure, they continue to make blockbusters that exceed expectations at the box office, but can they ever fail? Or will they ever fail? What movie will be their downfall? Only time will tell. Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy has earned $644 million at the global box office so far, while Marvel's Captain America: The Winter Soldier has earned $714 million worldwide. Impressive numbers. But will Fancy Ghosts top them?
