James Bond is returning for his 24th film adventure this November and he looks… pretty cold, actually. Sony has released the first official photo from SPECTRE, and it shows 007 (Daniel Craig in his fourth stint as Bond) brandishing a firearm in wintery terrain that looks like it could be adjacent to Inception's snow fortress.

Personally, I think the Daniel Craig franchised peaked with the debut film "Casino Royale". Then the follow up "Quantum of Solace" was nothing short of a dud. I had serious doubts about even bothering to go see "Skyfall", but I did any way, and while it was an improvement over "Quantum of Solice", it didn't really cause me to want to see it again.
This latest Bond crew seems to be bent on making 007 remarkably unremarkable. And it's villains nothing more than mediocre corporate criminals.
Scenery in a movie is nice, but if I want great scenery, I'll just tell my wife to take her clothes off!

Uh, Daniel Craig didn't get naked at all during that clip. So, the most important question has yet to be answered.

I used to always look forward to Bond movies, so much so that I would go to opening day. Since Daniel Craig took the role, they have sucked the fun out of the character. I like Daniel Craig but not the character he has been given to portray. I am hoping that Kingsman Secret Service will fill that void.
