"Mission impossible 5" will be released five months earlier because of the "Star wars". In order to avoid competition with the star of the Saga, the producers of the "Mission impossible 5" moved the premiere of the movie from December to July.

NOT excited!! How could anyone be over this? However, let's let that alone and address what might be happening here. Paramount has a huge problem on their hands what with Tom Cruise and the new documentary film, Going Clear, or Getting Clear, or whatever, exposing the horrors of Scientology and Mr. Cruise's part in all that debacle. Cruise is already, right now, taking a huge negative hit PR-wise because of this film's existence and it's screening at Sundance. And it's only going to get worse. Especially when the film shows on HBO in March. Do you really think this isn't going to affect this movie and how to market it? The sooner they get it out the better probably, but my thinking is that there are so many in the mass audience who like this MI stuff it might not make much difference. Still, from all the comments I've been reading online about this film and Cruise, people are really very negative about him...very negative. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. If this movie flops because of Cruise's involvement in Scientology and the negative impact generated by that, his days might be numbered. He somehow managed to survive his stupid antics of jumping on Oprah's couch and that horrible interview he did with Matt Lauer some years back, but this doc film really puts him in a very bad light. How he will be able to survive this continuing on-slaught of negative press due to his involvement in this strange organization is what the real question is.
